Alex Grant Memorial 5K Race

Join us for the 2nd Annual 5K Run for Pal, sponsored by Southern Tide! On September 22, 2012, friends and family of the late Alex "Pal" Grant will be gathering for the second time to host the largest road race at Boston College run entirely by students. 100% of proceeds will be going to benefit the Harmony Program in New York City, which gives economically disadvantaged children a top-of-the-line musical education.
All are welcome to attend this
event; in addition to the 5K, there will be a post-race barbeque, a DJ, and merchandise tables from Southern Tide, Monster Energy Drinks, and more. The race starts at 9:00 am at Gasson Hall at Boston College, and goes down around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir and back up Commonwealth Avenue. Prizes will be given to the winners, but those who just wish to have a good Saturday morning run are just as welcome!
